I posted that verse because I had read it during my devotional time that morning, and it really spoke to me about my need for it.
After reading your comment I did a search on biblegateway.com. There were 50 references that came up using the KJV, which is so much easier for me to use in study and searching. Repeatedly the verses said that worldy wisdom is not what God wants from us.
I’m so pleased that you stopped by my new blog. Several months ago I found yours after you’d left a comment on My Messing Thrilling Life and the title Two Stick Cowgirls intrigued me. And I’ve been checking your site nearly everyday since then. I loved the family stories.
I think we’re about the same age. When I was little, a friend and I played Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. We always played at her house so she got to choose first. I always had to play Dale Evans. Now that I think of it, that should have been my first choice anyway. She was gorgeous.
