One Year Ago Today

It was one year ago today, slightly after 3:00 p.m. when our (now ex-)daughter-in-law called from Colorado and asked if we would go there to get our grandsons and “keep them for the rest of the year.” Joe left work immediately and we were on the road within 2 hours.

This has been a year filled sometimes with hope, but mostly pain and fear.

Hope – when we had them.

Pain and fear when we lost them.

  1. Praying for you, friend. I haven’t been in bloggy world much lately, but enjoy catching up when I can. Did you finally get some rain last week?

  2. Thank you. We need all the prayer support we can get.

We did! And hope for more today.

I keep checking your blog for updates. How’s it going?

It’s definitely been a tough year for your family… hopefully things will start looking up. We’re praying for you all! Hugs!

  4. Thank you, Geneva. We still hope for them to have a normal life and not an insane one.
