    What a classic: everyone of my generation learned to read “See Spot Run” probably before we knew how to spell our own names!

    I remember Spot and Puff, but not the rabbit or the duck.

    • Janet, they were from the story where the family went to visit Grandfather and Grandmother on the farm, and the children were allowed to take two animals back home as pets.
